On earth, all creatures revive and cure themselves naturally. Death and birth are at times contiguous and could happen in the same second. It is a cycle, and human beings are certainly part of it. Learning from nature, I continued to push the limits of my technical and expressive abilities. I chose the organic form of natural elements, particularly, trees, leaves, sometimes animals and octopuses, especially parts of a human figure. My technique is to use mixed media (clay, collage, ink, painting, and drawing) to express my ideas of the productive mother earth. Now, I feel I am connected and close to the earth with the re-birth happening in our daily life. Unfortunately, we are too busy to recognize the wisdom of nature or appreciate it.

I am never satisfied or content with my artwork, I usually feel that I am on the verge of something new and vital. I wish I could have the same strength of the rhythmic flow that revives water naturally within. I tend to elaborate my images and patterns, allowing them to grow and bloom in botanic floral warmed by the sunrays that flow eloquently through my artworks. Studying leaves, I carefully observe how the shape, forms, and values change through their folds, movements, and growing process, which parallels the human expressions and emotions that are conveyed in the human portrait. In my work, plants are magnificent vessels used to express the human condition. I see leaves and floral imagery as the beginning of a deeper understanding of humanity. Throughout my past years of struggle, I have been throwing my seeds desperately. I fertilized the soil with my decaying body to revitalize an artist out of me. Currently, I am watching with pride the new plant pushing the dirt and growing towards the sun’s rays. Finally, my work is blossoming as I grow tall and resilient, pushing my roots deeply into the ground.....
